Koes Plus is an Indonesian music group, established since 1969 as the successor of Koes Bersaudara (Koes Brothers). It was famous in 1970’s and known as a pioneer of Indonesian rock n’ roll. Thus far, this group has been showing and singing their songs, whilst there are just only two active members (Yon dan Murry).
They have imprisoned since their music considered as a represent of capitalism politic in the old order.

One of his famous book is Max Havelaar (1860) his satirical novel about Dutch colonial bad treatment to the Dutch-Indies indigenous.

Chinese-Javanese shadowgraph arose in Jogjakarta 1925 and created by Gan Thwan Sing. Estimated, this shadowgraph show successfully around 1930 - 1960’s. After the shadowgraph’s puppeteer, at once the creator died in 1960’s, this shadowgraph also “died”. This presence which sole in Sonobudoyo Museum, Jogjakarta is awaited successor. Feared, it could be extinct if there’s nobody could play.

Its official name is Gereja Santa Maria Pelindung Diangkat Ke Surga (from Dutch, De Kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe ten Hemelopneming, in English: The Church of Our Lady of Assumption). This current cathedral was consecrated in 1901 and built in the neo-gothic style, a common architectural style to build churches at that time. The Jakarta Cathedral is located in Central Jakarta near Merdeka Square and Merdeka Palace, it is stood right in the front of Istiqlal Mosque.
The literal translation of the church is “Saint Mary Assumed to Heaven” or for short “St. MATH”.
